

Timothy Don Blackwell – 49, of McDonald, Tennessee, entered the Gates of Heaven on Monday, November 29, 2010, after an illness took his health, but never his spirit, humor or smile. He left this world a better place.
He was born April 13, 1961 and was of the Baptist faith.
He was employed for 18 years with AAA Cooper Transportation as a truck driver. He was lovingly known to many as “Red Rider”.
Tim loved to make people happy especially his family. He really enjoyed throwing big 4th of July parties for family and friends.
A loving husband, father, step-father and Paw Paw, he leaves his loving wife, Kathy Wolfe-Blackwell, of McDonald, TN., son, Robert (Jocelin) Blackwell, of Hixson, TN., stepson, Kenny (Gina) Wolfe-Driver, of Ringgold, GA., step grandchildren, Chandler and Ashlyn Plunkett, Tyler and Allison Wolfe-Driver, father, U. B. Blackwell, of Fyffe, AL., mother, Rose Ann Fielding-Blackwell, of Ooltewah, TN., a special and loving grandmother, Rose Fielding, of Ooltewah, TN., sisters, Tammy (Tommy) Dean, Leia (John) Simmons, of Huntsville, AL., and several nieces, nephews, a great nephew and a great niece.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., EST, Thursday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Brogden officiating. Graveside services will follow at approximately 12:30p.m., CST in Green’s Chapel Cemetery in Fyffe, Alabama with Rev. M. B. Bailey officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m., EST, Wednesday at the funeral home.
