Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Tracey was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose caring heart touched the lives of many. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Edna Collins, paternal grandfather, Elwood Burton, and her maternal grandfather, Hisley Norman.
A proud 1996 graduate of Ooltewah High School, Tracey found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved crafts, working puzzles, and getting lost in a good book. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family and the memories they shared together.
Tracey devoted much of her life to caring for others. Through her work in nursing homes and with hospice organizations, she compassionately served the elderly, offering comfort, kindness, and dignity to those in her care. Her gentle spirit and servant's heart left a lasting impression on countless families and individuals.
She was of the Baptist faith and found strength and comfort in her beliefs throughout her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Don and Sharon Burton of Chattanooga; her sisters, Tara Jarnagin (Danny) and Tristy Haight (David), both of Ooltewah; her brother, Don Burton, Jr., of Chattanooga; her beloved nieces, Shaelyn, Kaylee, and Elizabeth; and her nephew, Malachi, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
