She was the daughter of the late John and Hilda Robinson and was preceded in death by her husband, Frelian A. Dunn and nine siblings.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Violet was a very loving wife and mother. She enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her cats.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathy (Jay) Coffey, Vickie Dunn, all of Chattanooga, TN., Lori (Bill) Mumpower, of Columbiana, AL., three grandchildren, Aaron (Chasity) Conrad, Leah Mumpower, Evan Mumpower, four great grandchildren, Abigail, Caleb, Christopher, James, brother, Bill Robinson, of Cleveland, TN., sister, Helen Helton, of Rossville, GA., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
