William was of the Church of God Faith. He loved gardening and small engine repair.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Aaron; son, Russell Aaron Jr. and parents, George Russell Aaron and Gladys Victoria Drain Aaron.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy (Teresa) Aaron; daughter, Brenda Scates, both of Chattanooga, TN, daughter, Sharon (Les) Williams of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren, Heather, Mandy, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kelly and Vance, seven great- grandchildren, one great-great -grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to a special thank you to JoAnn Tessier with Gentiva Hospice for the love and care she provided.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
