Wilma June Smith

Wilma June Smith, 84, of Ooltewah passed away, Monday, December 08, 2014. Mrs. Smith was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne B. Smith; parents, Claude and Ethel Roy. She was the last living child of her parents. Mrs. Smith was retired from Erlanger Hospital after 24 years of service. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Ooltewah. She loved to cook and have her family around her. Mrs. Smith made quilts. She made a vegetable garden every summer and grew beautiful flowers.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David Jones; son and daughter-in-law Todd and Cindi Smith; grandchildren, Corey Blanks, Crystal Blanks and Jack Smith; great grandchildren Erin Borders and Taylor Blanks; great great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Borders; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm, Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Jones and her grandson, Jack Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7 Wednesday.
