So sorry that we cannot be with all of you during this sad time. I remember Adele as a strong, independent woman who always said what she ment. She also seemed to have a wonderful attitude about life that let her accept what was happening and not be bitter about what did not go right. I see her smiling and laughing about all of it. She loved her family so much and was proud of you. Her life had made some wonderful people and she knew it. Blessings and peace Adele.

I loved how Adele was so picky about her food - and not in the health-conscious way so many are today. Pile on the goodies and nothing but junk food thank you - and none of that fat-free stuff either! Hope I live long enough to throw all caution to the winds in the same manner. She was cantankerous, but I remember her being there at holidays and enjoying her grandchildren (and even Ajax!). Rest easy now Adele.

I have had the pleasure of having this wonderful woman as my mother-in-law for 25 years. Her strong support, guidance, and great sense of humor will truly be missed. She was more than just a mother-in-law to me, she was a close friend and confidant. Thank you for raising such a wonderful son. I will always take good care of him. Amy McLawhorn

Such a gentle and loving person. Never afraid to say what came to mind. Was very happy living a simple and humble life. Family was far more important to Auntie Adele than material wealth. I am sure that Uncle Sherman and her siblings are welcoming her to heaven with open arms. Say “Hi” to my Mom and Dad. Rest In Peace Auntie Adele. You will forever hold a place in my heart.
