Alexander S Piet

Beloved father of Angela Piet-Campbell (husband Michael); cherished brother-in-law of James "Whitey" Ryniec (late Bonnie), and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, the late Stanley "Stas" and Ann Piet; and his beloved sister Bonnie "Nite" Piet-Ryniec.

Alex "Butch" was an avid book reader and a weekly player of Pinochle with his group of close friends at the Bridgeview Park District for many years. He loved nature and riding his bicycle whenever he could. He also loved Polka music and was quite the dancer in his youth. He was a kind man who loved his daughter very much and took great pride in serving in the United States Air Force. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Alex "Butch" will be on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, from 4:00 PM. to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. On Friday, May 29, 2026, Family and Friends please meet at 12:00 PM., sharp for the Committal Service that will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
