Amelia Longoria, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Amelia was a pretty woman filled with love and care. She loved music and loved to dance. If you know Amelia then you know she was well known in the Back Of The Yards neighborhood. She enjoyed shopping and loved a good dollar store. She would listening to music any chance she could.
Should would been seen in her chair jamming out to the music at any family party or carne asada we had. Or you would catch her on the front porch with her boom box playing her “Rock N Roll”. She would smile and sing alone and tell stories of how she used to love to dance when she was younger. She helped to raise her grandkids and was involved in their lives. She used to drop off as well as pick up the kids from school. She even used to chaperone and field trips for her grandkids. She would take them to stores as she shopped as well as McDonalds or Burger King to eat.
She may not of spoiled her kids but she sure did spoil her grandkids and great grandkids, and not just with gifts but with love and affection. She had stories for days and we would listen to them anytime of day.
Amelia was a staple in this family and was there for us over the years. She loved all of her kids and they all loved her. The is a void in the family that can not be replaced. We know she loved life, loved her music, and loved her family.
Amelia you will truly be missed by us all. ♥️
