Anna Marie Nichols Pogvara, nee O'Keefe, 95, formerly of Chicago, IL; passed away Monday, July 25, 2011; beloved wife of the late George Pogvara and the late James Nichols Sr.; loving mother of Kathleen Nolan of Rochester, MN, Mary Eileen Robinson, James (Diane) Nichols and Patricia Kimball; step-mother of four; dear grandmother of Colleen (Eugene) Caballes, Erin (Jose) Cervantes, Brent Nichols, Bridget Nichols, Matthew Chiaramonte, Beth Chiaramonte and Paul (Melissa) Ruthenbeck-Chiaramonte; step-grandmother of nine; proud great-grandmother of seven; step-great-grandmother of four; fond sister preceded in death by William, John, James, Mary Erin O'Keefe and Catherine Schaefer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anna Marie is one of the first parishoner's of St. Daniel the Prophet Church. Funeral Friday, July 29th, 9:30 a.m. from Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave. (corner of Natoma) Chicago, to St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 54th & Nashville, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, Chicago.
