Anna Marmol

Anna Marmol passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Anna was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a friend to many. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolf Marmol, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.

A longtime tavern owner, Anna was known for her strong work ethic, welcoming spirit, and generous heart. She had a natural way of making people feel at home and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Helping others was simply who she was.

Above all else, Anna loved her family deeply. She was a proud and devoted mother to Leon (Christine) Marmol, Caesar (Sandy) Plaszewski, Elzbieta (Marian) Oleksa, and to her late son, Andrew (Elizabeth) Plaszewski, whom she carried in her heart always. She was a loving and devoted grandmother — “Babcia” — to Rudy and Lukas Marmol; Emily and Caesar Plaszewski; Tom (Natalie) Plaszewski; Joanna (Maciej) Kowal; Paweł (Malwina) Oleksa; and Daniel (Barbara) Oleksa, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She was the dearest great-grandmother of Alexander, Hannah, Oliwia, Karol, Jakub, and Daria. Anna was a treasured sister of the late Władek Sproch, the late Staszek Sproch, and the late Stanisława Manfred. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Anna will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she held so close.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
