

Clemence P. Tomaszewski, age 93, Veteran WW II. Beloved husband of the late Stella. Loving father of Tom, Sue Tarr and Carol (Donald) Kaczmarek. Dearest grandfather of Dina (Josh) Belson, Matt (Katie) Kaczmarek, Christopher (Staci) Kaczmarek and Adam (Meredith) Tarr. Dear great-grandfather of Lilly and Luci Belson, Brayden Tarr, Ari Kaczmarek and twin baby girls Tarr due in September. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Clem was an honorable WW II Veteran serving in the army infantry for over three long years and then building a life and family with Stella. They raised 3 children and were blessed to experience 4 grandchildren who honored them with 4 great-grandchildren. He loved them all deeply.
He was devoted to His God and his church, St. Jane’s Holy Name Society, Ushers, Seniors Club, running Bingo and Fund raising events and putting on shows for over 50 years at St. Jane De Chantal.
He was infamous for his poetry writing, telling jokes, playing the harmonica, saying the rosary and beings a CUBS fan. And all who knew him can never forget his obsession with Ketchup, orange soda and chocolate.
Mostly he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a friend to many and his humor touched everyone he met. He will be remembered with a smile and deeply missed.
Funeral Wednesday 9:00 am from Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave. to St. Jane De Chantal Church. Mass 9:30 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 3 – 9 pm.
