She was born to George and Sylvia Masek on June 20, 1942 in Chicago, IL. After graduating Evergreen Park High School, Cynthia married her high school sweetheart, Paul Parizanski and together raised their children, Pauly and Laura, on the Southwest side of Chicago. Cynthia loved spending time with her daughter Laura, and grandsons Ronny and David, as well as her many beloved pets, especially cats Shemp and Abby, and gardening with her son Pauly. For over 16 years, many days were spent as a volunteer at Neat Repeats in Worth, IL, which helps support The Crisis Center of South Suburbia and victims of domestic abuse.
Cynthia is survived by her son Pauly, daughter Laura (Ron) Drabeck, her grandsons Ronny and David, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Sylvia Masek, sisters Violette (Masek) Stephens, Bernice Masek, and Connie (Masek) Newberg. In fulfillment of her wishes, a public gathering of family and friends and a Celebration of Life will be held on July 6, 2022 from 4:00pm - 9:00pm at Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens, in the E.G. Simpson Clubhouse, located at 7402 West Lake Katherine Drive, Palos Heights, Il. It is requested that guests dress happily and comfortably in celebration of Cynthia and enjoyment of the natural beauty of Lake Katherine.
