David J. Michon, age 65, passed away suddenly in May. He was the beloved son of Edmund and Theresa Michon, and the cherished brother of Mark (Christine) Michon and Susan (Richard) Lewandowski. David was a proud uncle to Marky and Kristin Michon, and Richie and Rob Lewandowski. He was a loyal friend to many cousins and a devoted fishing buddy to Joe K. and Walter.
David was the primary caregiver to his parents, a role he embraced with deep love and unwavering dedication. An avid fisherman—just like his dad, uncles, and cousins—David found joy and peace on the water. He lived his best life in a house by a lake in Minnesota, where the outdoors became part of his daily rhythm.
A retired carpenter with Local 1185, David followed in the footsteps of his father. He was well known throughout Brighton Park, where his childhood home stood directly beside Kelly Park, a place that shaped many of his lifelong friendships and memories.
