A single memory is impossible....these past few days the memories come back in rolling fading images like flashbacks in movies complete with echo-ey muffled sound. Rehearsals in "the shack"......Saturday breakfasts with pay T.V.s in the restaurant booth.....renting the worst titles we could find at the video store so we could play Siskel and Ebert of bad movies- long before Mystery Science Theater too the idea. We were roommates 3(? ) times and I was your tenant twice.... Michigan weekends, Friday night dinners, weekend morning coffee and nights in the backyard on Mozart when I lived upstairs. the "culture club" outings. Five years working together at Clevite. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I learned a lot of free thought and a lot of sarcasm and how to dish it back at a young age...
births of our daughters,
You and Bonnie have bailed me out of hard times more times than I care to imagine and I am not certain where I'd be without.....
So the double edged sword of the grief these few days, is the memory of gifts to my life that will never be taken away.

Dave my friend, my favorite memory is when we went into Mr.Trapani's room and wrote on the chalk board White Sox rule. We sure did have a good laugh. I thank you for the way you treated my mom and I loved how you always called her grandma. Finn always looked forward for his thanksgiving walk after dinner. I know we will never win trivia again without you. You are my Einstein. Most of all it will never be the same watching the Bears,Sox and Blackhawks without texting you. Really going to miss you. Be
