Elizabeth Connelly, 90, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on December 11, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Stewart Connelly, Sr., her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Sadlo and her brother Joseph Edward Sadlo. Loving mother of Joseph William Connelly (Rosa) and Stewart Connelly, Jr., (Debra). Dear grandmother of Albert Joseph Connelly (Heather) and Christine Elizabeth Connelly. Dear great grandmother of Alexis Rose Connelly. Also survived by Michael Jablonski, her father's sister's grandson and Violet Haskell, her husband's sister. A graduate of Chicago Teachers College, she taught grammar school system in the Chicago Public School systems for 20 years. After retiring, she spent many years volunteering at local VA Hospitals and was active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She always thought of other first.
