Rose and I have been BFF for 50 years and so my childhood was spent a lot at the Sowa's house on Ada. Mrs. Sowa always treated me like family . I loved going there and eating her wonderful Polish dishes. Mr and Mrs. Sowa and John Tlomacz were members of the VFW Post on Throop St. Rose and I would go there on Friday nights for the Fish Fry and Bingo. I was honored to be able to see Mrs. Sowa and Randy and Linda before she got very ill. I'm glad she spent her last days in Linda's loving care with Rose and Randy and Linda at her side. Rest in Peace.
