Gerald J. Valenti

He graduated from Kelly High School Class of 59. Proud veteran of the United States Army and received a recognition as Expert Rifle M-14. A jack of all trades he worked as a supervisor at Johnson & Johnson, owned Capri Pizza in Frankfort, a partner in MV Construction and a partner in GMW Janitorial Service. Gerald loved fishing, hunting, golf and taking care of his lawn. Gerald was a good guy and a great teacher/coach for baseball, golf, hunting and fishing. Kids loved Mr. Jerry.

Lovingly remembered by his son and sister. He was a wonderful uncle/great uncle to many nephews and nieces.

Visitation for Gerald will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 9:00 AM. to 1:00 PM with prayer Service starting at 1:00 PM., with Fr. Pawol officiating, at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. For information call 773-586-7900 or visit www.ridgefh.com.
