Guadalupe Villaseñor (nee Avila) passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the age of 75 years. Guadalupe was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a lifelong resident. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank J. Villaseñor, of 47 years. Graduated from Marshall High School in Chicago. For the last 25 years, she was a homemaker, caregiver, and grandmother. Guadalupe had many hobbies including anything to do with cooking: trying new recipes, perfecting old recipes, watching cooking shows. She enjoyed high action and crime movies and listening to a wide variety of music. Her flowers and garden were important to her but her biggest love was her family both near and far. Guadalupe is best remembered for her kindness, patience, and loving smile along with her enchiladas, tamales, and chile rellenos. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Irene Campos (husband Jim O.) of Chicago, IL and her son, Frank T. Villaseñor (wife Heidi) of St. Louis, MO as well as four grandchildren: Maddox (11) and Ethan (8) Campos, Peyton (4) and Bode (not yet born) Villaseñor. I met Frank & Lupe when I was a teenager through Juanita many years ago. She always was smiling and very sweet to me growing up. We may not be family by blood or through marriage but I will always think of her as family. She will truly be missed. I will never forget her smile and kindness.

May Lupe’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her and loved her. My heart and thoughts are with my brother Frank and with her children and grandchildren who where the whole world to her. She will be missed but in our hearts forever.

I rember as kid always having a great meal in Lupe's Kitchen it was one was one of my highlights. But the greatest moments were built for our family when my daughter Abigail was born she watched her and grew up together , Abigail would go over and play uno and draw with her and play music. We love the great memories we all had together. Love you Aunt Lupe..

I will always remember Lupe as loving, caring and good-natured in the many roles she filled in life, including mother, grandmother, wife, aunt and sister-in-law.

When my grandson and her grandnephew Conor was seriously ill in the hospital this past April, she prayed every day for his recovery, even after he was released. She was so happy for him and his Mom and Dad when he got well and we were all very grateful to her for her prayers.

My deepest condolences to Frank, Irene and Frankie. May their beloved Wife and Mother Rest in Peace.

Wow I was shocked when I heard the passing of my cousin Lupe. She was a kind soul and had that contagious laugh. I will never forget the closeness you felt toward my Mom and I'm forever grateful when you came to visit her at her home & when she was with me at my mine. You are now reunited with your Mom & Mine.
Love You Prima May You R.I.P

My big sister Lupe always cared and loved all her brothers and sister. My fondest memory is when I first came home on leave while in the Air Force. She couldn't believe how much I had changed and gown up I was. I always loved when it came time to eat too. Especially when she prepared her delicious Chili Rellenos. I love you Sis and will miss you. You made a big impact in my life and I will forever be grateful. R.I.P.
