During my time in the Highland Park Park District I found Henry X to be a friend, trusted advisor, and all round great guy. The world is poorer for his passing but richer for his 80 plus year here.

During my early days at Michael Reese's Public Relations Dept. I heard about Henry X. from my colleague, Jane.
Some decades later I again heard about him from his daughter Polly, who became a close friend of my daughter, Elizabeth. And from Marlene Waller, who runs in the same art circles as Joan.
While I met him but briefly at Jane's wedding, I was impressed by what I heard about his accomplishments and family dedication.
May his memory be for a blesssing.

I too was privileged to meet and know the 'X' at Lake Forest. But, the greatest virtue he had was heart, a big heart!! I will always remember him for being a most memorable friend and a sensitive person. My prayer line has had him in it since he became ill from his fall and he along with his Joan and family will be there from here on. May he generously welcomed into the hands of the one most high. Henry became a friend when we met at Lake Forest College in 1950.We shared many memories as members of Kappa Sigma fraternity, Chicago Cardinal football games where Hank and I sat in the press box at Commiskey park working on the first NFL play by play project which was handed out to all the press quarter by quarter, an idea devised by Hanks and my good fried Ray Geraci. ..the best game we watched was the Bear game which the Cards won by a lopsided score,
Henry was a most kind, generous man who
it was my honor to meet. I shall always remember the "X"
GOD bless you in peace.

The only satirist ever to render Kate Kohn speechless, she loved it, and him, as did we all. Love from Lynne and Dick.
