I know it's eleven years too late, but it seems you touched so many people with your love of the classic game GoldenEye.  Thanks for all of your wisdom and the fun you have given to hundreds of thousands, maybe even more, people throughout the world who watch people play the game you loved using the strategies you gave us.  I hope your family has been at peace, and rest well you legend!

Sir John Kaleta, I know I’m late, but, we’ll always remember how much of an impact you had on the goldeneye speedrunning community. You were a great man, as only a legend could revolutionize and make so many people quit goldeneye speedrunning, all because they took a quote a bit too literally and had some fun. You do not know how big your influence was in the community, as I come from the doom community. Fly high, king.

I havent seen John in over 40 years and am deeply saddened by his sudden passing. John and I went to Saint Casimir's grammar school in Chicago, IL, together. John also was my best man at my wedding in 1971. John and I served in Vietnam at the same time, he in the Marine Corps, and I in the Army 1967-1968. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family. God Bless him and his family.
