Juvenal was born on March 8, 1933 in Tamazula, Mexico to a large family. He married the love of his life, Esperanza, on January 12, 1964, who passed away on January 24, 2016. Together, they built a solid home, loving family, and left a legacy of hard work, strong values, and great humor. Juvenal, also referred to as "Pichulis," was a strong man, who always provided for his family and set a great example to his multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They remember him fondly from his jokes to the candy he would bring them during his tenure at a candy company. Juvenal was also strong-willed, and despite his calm demeanor, would not hesitate to give one of us a stern talking – always providing a valuable life lesson in the end.

Juvenal had two passions aside from his family: soccer and food. He was an avid Chivas fan and always stood loyal to his team. His love for Mexican food extended to his very last days – as he would eagerly request dishes such as Menudo, Birria or Chilaquiles, with as many tortillas as he could handle. Despite his long health battles, he is now resting in peace, free from pain and together at last with his darling wife. Juvenal is survived by a great, extensive family including his children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. We were very lucky to have him as the patriarch of our family.
