Happy  birthday. I  miss you so very much everyday. Miss everything we used to do together, .Garage sales, going  to Aldis  even Costco,   saw a commercial advertising peppermint   bark, which  I  thought  of the Christmases that you made that for terry.   Dean and Val are doing well. Dean calls me every week, he just called me yesterday, he is getting all A's and B's and only has three semesters left for his degree. It's so hard to believe that you've been gone from us for 3 years. It sometimes feels like long time, and then it's like yesterday.
We miss you so very much.

Dean and Val are doing well.
Dean calls every  week and comes over weekly.
He's going to Illinois State in July so I won't see him as much.
He's working for a career in accounting.
He's also very fit, and goes to the gym every day.
Val is back from Colorado and is looking  for a job in law enforcement.
Nothing new going on here.

Hey, Lou:
Thought it was about time I wrote to everyone in Heaven.  I miss you all so very much.  You are in my thoughts every day.  Every day something I see triggers memories.  This morning it was an ad for the kalamta olives you liked so much and bought whenever they were on sale.
Everything is rather quiet here, with Brandon and Ryan away at school.
Yesterday Val called, and I think she's homesick.
She doesn't really like working in a prison and is looking for something else.
Dean was also here yesterday and is doing so well, you would not believe it is the same young man he was over two years ago.
He's still going to COD this year, but wants to go to ISU next fall.  He studies very hard o he will have a good  GPA at the end of the year.
Be proud of They both seem to know what they want.

I move away from Chicago tomorrow, though I'm sure you already know that because I always have that travel bug. I know how supportive you've always been of my dreams and they're slowly coming true. I finally graduated, and I could have sworn I actually heard you yelling, hooting and hollering as I crossed the stage (though I'm not surprised by that). I miss you every day, and I love you so much.

Your birthday was Sunday. You would have been 52. As I told your brother it was much too young. 
We did a lot of baking Sunday, Dean even helped.
Sam and Salena . Abby of course, Jose and Tony.  Becky came with Dionnne's daughter, Emma.
Debbi did almost all of the cleanup since you were not here.
Have a few more things to do.

Just a few words to let you know I think of you every day.
Dean and Val are doing well.
Both are in school, studying hard. Val graduates in December and will be moving to Arizona after Christmas.  Pat got a good promotion with FedEx and is already gone.
Val is very close to Debbi. like a second mom because you're not here. Dean is closer to me, and tries to visit at least once a week.  Between school, working and  his meetings as well as going to the gym daily, he's a very busy young man.

good Morning. Lou:
I think of you daily, and still cannot believe you're not with us. It's so hard to accept and so very hard to believe it's forever.
I think Val was trying to help two weeks ago.
Took me to a couple of garage sales. 
I couldn't find anything.  Val bought a couple things, but wound up getting a parking ticket.  The only no parking signs were on each corner.
She's started her final semester and will graduate at the end of the year.
Dean is ding very well too.
He is still going to school, working and is very active in his meetings.
Brandon and Ryan are both away at school so it's pretty quiet here.

I see you are making sure we are all ok and that you are letting us know you are not gone and always watching over us, you are the beautiful butterfly that was with me on Saturday morning as I pulled weeds and lo and behold the first call I received at work this morning was from a girl named Laura, coincidence I think not. I think about you often, more like daily, and miss you much.

You are in my thoughts every da as are Terry and dad.
I miss the garage sales, trips to Aldi's, Sam's and Costco, and playing Tai Pei on the machine. Those were fun times.

I bought a pink rose to put by your ashes and before it withered, it turned yellow.
Dean is doing very well.  He's working, going to college and is faithful in going to his meetings.  He's very active.
Before we sent him to Florida, he got a yellow rose tattoo for you.
Val is very close to Debbi and relies on her for some guidance.  She's attending summer school so she can graduate after the fall semester.

Good morning my baby girl.
Today you've been gone a year.  It seems like yesterday. I remember when Debbi had you taken to ER, and you telling Becky you weren't through fighting.
All those IV's and the one you called you called the banana boat. Nothing helped.
God decided it was time for you to be with him in Heaven.
I have daily reminders of you, either at the grocery store or on TV  were yours alone.
I bought a rose to put by your ashes, but it's pink. Couldn't find a yellow one.
I's a rainy, dreary day, so right for the way I feel today.

Next Wednesday will be year you have left us. They say time heals all wounds but my heart is still broken. I found a tattoo that I am going to get as a remembrance of you, was hoping to go get it next Wednesday but as you know something else has come up that requires my money more than a tattoo. I honestly don't need a tattoo to remember you, all I have to do is go through my wedding album or look up to the heavens and stick my tongue out as you as you laugh at me and stick your tongue out at me as you look down from the heavens.

Easter is now behind us.  Val, Salena, Jose, Sam and Ryan colored eggs.  It was so sad that you weren't here to take charge, like you always did.
Believe it or not, your friend Dot have become pen pals.  Apparently she had met up with Dean and got my address and wrote a beautiful letter reminiscing about the girl  scout days when you lived on LaGrange Rd.
Got another letter on Monday, so it's my turn.
Think I'll ask her to come over for coffee.
Your kids are doing very well.  Debbi made them Easter baskets like you did.
Dean is supposed to come over today.  We shall see. Besides school, he is working almost every day.  Now he's become an assistant manager.  He and Silvana  are still  together.

The holidays are finally behind us and I'm so very glad.  Missed you without your Santa's hat and not making your favorite cookies.
I think of you every day and wish you were here. I see a Payday bar and I immediately think of you.
Dean is doing very well at school and has moved in with Jeff. So far everything is good.
Val comes over every week and she and I talk about you a lot. She has shown me the pictures she has on her phone of you and her.
I know she misses you a lot, but she has never been an emotional person,  Her birthday was yesterday, 23 years old .
I've been watching the old VHS films so I can get them converted to DVD for the kids.
I watched the one where we lived on Keating.
You were pregnant with Val and as big as a house.

Merry Christmas up in heaven. I know that you are looking down on us and protecting us. I see the pennies all of the time and Val sees the butterflies. Although my heart remains so heavy and I think of you everyday, I am trying my best to keep my promise to you and take care of your kids and mom the best that I can. You would be so proud of both Dean and Val. You now have your "phone buddy" (aunt Gail) with you. Know that not a day goes by that I don't miss you. Me too you!!!

Happy birthday(51) to you.  Sure wish you were here so I could hug you once again.
There is a lot going on down here right now.
However you would be so proud of Val and Dean.
Val has gotten very close to Debbi, as Dean.
Val is planning to go to summer school so she can get her degree in the fall.
Dean is also going back to school and has enrolled for next semester. He lives alone now and works very hard in so many ways.
I actually talked him into going to a dentist.  He has quite a few cavities but is getting them taken of.  Believe it or not he is scheduled for jury duty soon.
They have turned out to be very responsible adults for which you should be very very proud. I know we all are.

I know I tell you the same thing every time I write, but I miss you terribly. I know you're not in pain any longer and I'm glad for that.
When we go shopping, I see things that only you would buy, your oatmeal, air nerds, and the ever loving Payday bars.
Val and Dean are doing well as you know.  Dean is talking about going back to school, which I hope he will.  How that boy loves to cook.

I'm still missing you every day, and the smallest, seemingly irrelevant things are what trigger most of the fond memories I have with you. 

Today, for instance, I found myself looking at vacations and trips on Expedia, which I cannot afford right now. I'm going to Las Vegas this week with Grandma and Auntie Debbi, and in about a month, I'll be back in California. 

Whenever I visit a new place, it reminds me of all the stories you told me of the places you went around the world with grandma, grandpa, and your siblings. You used to tell me about going to England, Florida, and so many other family trips and how lucky you were that grandma worked for an airline company. I think that's why I like traveling so much. I know you loved to go on vacations too- visiting Sturgis, going to Colorado, our Mexico vacations, going to Minnesota, and so many endless options of new ventures. 

I know you'll be looking out for me, as you always do, as I travel west this next month. Love and miss you xxx

good Morning, Lou:
Yesterday I did one of the most difficult things I had to do for a while. I had Biscuit to sleep.
She had breast cancer and was no longer functioning, just walking in circles and messing in the house.  Her tail never wagging and hadn't eaten in 9 days, just liver sausage and once in a while.  Dr Munsayac said that surgery and chemo was the only option and he did not feel that she would survive it.
Val and Pat went with me since I couldn't do it alone.
We were with her until the end.
I hugged her and told her how much I loved her and knew she was now at peace, no more pain.
Val took it hard as well.
When we got home we read the poem you gave me Scamp was put down, The Rainbow Bridge.
So now she's with her rightful owner, you, together once more

Still waiting for the stupid cell to ring with a morning call, but it doesn't happen.

It is so very hard for me to really believe that you left us so soon.  I know you are at peace . You left behind so many, many friends and family who loved you because of who you were.

It's been over a month and they say time mends all broken hearts, I think of you daily, all the fun we had growing up, the time we spent together, playing communion at my communion party. Oh the fun and trouble we got into, but I wouldn't change any part of that. The only part I wish I could change is that we spent more time together as adults. My sweet sweet Laura, my insomniac partner, up at 3 in the morning  calling each other, sometimes bringing me donuts, or Starbucks, or Jon's apple strudel. She threw herself into helping me with the parties for the vets from Hines hospital. She had a big heart, always willing to help, she loved her children more than life itself.
