Hi Dean" I will miss our talks you and Tom are wonderful neighbors. We will always keep your memories alive. Funny how you and my daughter shared the same birthday so you will never be forgotten. We will keep you close to our heart. Until we meet again! 

I have so many memories and moments with my grandma that I will always cherish. From cooking lasagna with her every holiday and adding to much spice. Her teaching me how to make butter noodles while waiting for the pot to boil. Her bologna sandwich’s. To getting yelled at for eating all the whip cream. She taught me some karate after I had to convince her even though I knew she loved it because she always got into it. She told me so many life stories and moments that could fill a book. Once I turned 10, she began to call me double digit and it stuck. She never failed to come to a basketball game and be the loudest in the room. And at half time would dance to the music. Or our car rides where she sang at the top of her lungs. Yet when I was loud she always said “oh ella you’re so loud you’re hurting my ears”. Or the times she would come in the morning to drop off lunch for school.   When she would come in and say double digits say hi to boo boo (her stuffed animal). I would tease her as I called her abuelita at because she always wanted to be called gigi. I’m going to miss her sarcastic spirit and her misspelled text messages through the day. I’ll hold our sleepover close to my heart, as I kicked her off the bed each time.  And her praying with me and my sister before we went to bed. And she would then make me a bubble bath but tell me don’t go in yet it’s too hot.  She never acted her age. I remember at a birthday party I put cake on her nose and she did it back until we got yelled at. She was the life of the party. I was fortunate enough to have talked with my grandma and made the irreplaceable memories. My hero, my best friend, and the strongest woman I have met. no one will ever replace the love we had for each other. I’ll cherish the frito dinner, the early morning breakfast, riding a bike, Easter eggs, and always being my biggest support. I know that she will always be with me and will be watching over me throughout the rest of my life. I love you forever.

My mom had such a big smile. She would help any of her nieces and nephews and renamed many. Growing up I didn’t know 1/2 my cousins real names. But she did not allow anyone to nickname me cause she gave me so many names already. 

She is a beautiful soul. Loved being a wife running the show, a mother teaching me to be the person I am today and my best friend, mother in law to Don and loving him like her own, grandmother that lived for her grandkids. I will miss our calls and getting yelled at, but would not have had is any other way. I can only hope to be like my mother. She was the life of a party. 

Please remember her and cherish the time you may have had with my mom. She is one special person. And now she is our angel.

Then my third. My mom said, “I don’t have anymore room in car so 3 my baby is all.”And then came my Ella who fought and teased  grandma from the day she was born. But the one my mom seen come into this world. They became partner in crime,  her double digits. Her restaurant buddy. Ella was her go to for her phone ipad. Ella taught her how to communicate with you all through her phone. 

She would do absolutely anything for her grandkids and she can never be replaced. From trying to race Chris home and spraining ankles, watching Angelina when her expander fell and calling screaming she didn’t know what to do with her to her to calling me every hour when Ella was small. “She doesn’t like me what did you tell hers out me ?” mom she is a baby ans wouldn’t understand anyways. To driving to softball game and having a farmer chasing my mom Angelina and Ella  with a tracker. 

She attended so many of their games and always cheering and coaching from the stands. If you knew my kids you knew grandma and she would be cheering you on also.  They were her ACE. Please know my babies she is in your heart and we have found memories of her. The most cherished grandma and she was proud. 

As for me. There are not enough words or stories to capture my mom. She did everything for me. Took me to Disney and bought me a huge Minnie Mouse that she tried to shove in the compartment. Was bigger than her.

Her favorite line to me, I brought you in this world I can take you out. 

She would call me my baby even at 44. I will miss this woman more than you know. I want to just call her to hear her pick up “what my baby ,now you have time for me” even though I talked to or seen her a few hours earlier. Don’t think we ever went more than couple days without talking cause on her vacations.

This past week has been the time I have dreaded for years. I not only lost my mom but my best friend. My mom was unique and one of a kind. Her heart was so big and welcoming. As a mom she aced it. Always in my business but wouldn’t want it any other way. She talks to everyone and if you got her started she would talk for hours. She was never wrong no matter what. Growing up she got me involved in everything and took me everywhere to make sure the my childhood was full of memories. I will hold those close to my heart as I am missing a piece of me now. 

My heart breaks for my dad whose princess was my mom. He spoiled her rotten but she deserved to be. Dad she loved you and don’t think anyone could fit her better. My mother loved her Donnie. She loved to pick fights with him yet he was the first person to call for help ,advice and cooking questions.  She loved him like a son not son in law. She would do anything for him. I will miss their freezer arguments. My kids, her babies. You could not find a more life full cheerleader and supporter than my mom. She loved Christopher, Angelina, Ella so much. She was proud of them. Any article or picture of my kids you can find posted all around her house. 

I remember telling my mom I was pregnant. She said I am partial to girls what do I do if it’s a boy? My Christophur, as she called him,  was born and she  spoiled him. She told him everyday your amazing just the way you are. I believe that song has been played and was sung by my mom thousands of times. 

Next baby she told me another baby, how do we handle two? Well she did an amazing job with her Angel. They would butt heads but couldn’t be apart. Angelina and my mom were best friends. She would sing your an angel your an angel to me!


My deepest condolences to Tom and Lupe’s family! It was always a pleasure to see Lupe and her family at the restaurant. She was always so kind and caring. Always smiling and happy. I had the pleasure Saturday to wait on her and her family. We prayed for a better healthier new year! I’m so sad to hear of her passing. She will truly be missed.

We are so very sorry for the passing of a dear friend. We will keep her memory forever imbedded in our hearts. 
Lupe was a special person. Always smiling. And had such an infectious laugh. She will be sorely missed. She is now flying with the Angels.

Gramma was a wonderful person who had a smile on her face everytime I saw her. As principal of St. Laurence, I saw her cheering on Chris, Angelina, and Ella at all their games. She loved to be around them and support them. I loved seeing her and speaking to her. Her pleasant personality was contagious. My condolences go out to Sabrina and her family. Lupe was the grandma that came into my life and very soon acted as my own. From breakfast dates anytime I was home from school to going dress shopping with her and Tom for their 50th anniversary party, which she wanted to be dressed in head to toe gold for. Every time I got a text from her it always began with “BRI-BEAR BRI-BEAR” and even got me a stocking with BRI-BEAR knitted into it, which she had one hung up at her house and then gifted me my own to keep. She truly made me feel like part of the family for the time that i’ve been around. I will miss our conversations, her awful driving and hard braking, our breakfasts, our texts with a million emojis, but most of all our laughs and complaining about Christopher. I miss you so much Lupe, and I will forever be grateful I had you in my life. You were such an inspiration to me and showed me what family truly means. You will forever be missed and never forgotten. This is not a goodbye, but it’s a see you later. Rest in peace & power you crazy little lady.

Okay Grandma here I go. Nearly everyday now I have listened to our song, Just the Way You Are. You are so loving and had an unbelievable heart that cared for everyone around you. I can remember you jumping up and down in your drivers seat when our song came on, turning the volume up through the roof of the car, so everyone can here and you screaming the song to the loudest possible tone to me. It did not matter if you were on the highway or side streets. Grandpa would try to calm you down and you continued to ignore him and sing the song. If I wasn’t there you would call me, no matter if I was in school and leave a voice mail of you screaming the song to me. I loved every second listening to the voicemails and I now have a few to remember you by. Let’s go to the breakfasts we always went on. When we would get to the restaurants Grandpa would walk around the car making sure each window and door was locked shut. You would scream “Tom let’s go, car isn’t going anywhere”. Grandma led the way in and knew everyone that worked. Greeting them with “hey baby how you doing today” and a great big beautiful smile that she always had on. She brought her own sweeteners. Got her coffee with a side of milk and bread. Dumped the whole bread in the coffee and went to town on it. She loved her coffee dipped bread. Memories go on and on as she drove me to and from school some days and picked me up from practices. I loved every second with her. The most caring, loving, adorable grandma anyone can ask for. I’ll always love your text messages to me out of the blue that read “You’re Amazing as You Are” with unlimited heart emojis. You are my best friend in disguise as a Grandma and I loved it. You’re amazing as you are Grandma, don’t ever forget that. Just the way you are, beautiful and heavenly gorgeous. I love you to the moon and back and then back again. Fly high Grandma, you have earned your wings. Watch over Grandpa too, he needs you. Love you Grandma, your one and only Christopher! ❤️

There will never be enough words to describe the beautiful soul my grandma was. she deserved an infinite amount of words. 17 years ago, God blessed me with my greatest treasure. A grandmother, that would surpass all. She was the life of the party, and had no shame. She taught me to be unique and that when no one else supported me she would. A promise she never failed to keep. She was my comfort , and my safe place. I’ll never forget the early morning breakfast, leading me to figure out why she only took the yellow splenda’s. I’ll keep your 20 voicemails a day close to my heart, as your voice was soft and beautiful. I knew whenever you came to my games, I’d have the loudest crowd in the room. The love my grandma gave me, was a type of love that many will never receive. A love that warms the heart. My favorite and most cherish able memory my grandmother ever gave me , was singing Jonny Angel. Yet she switched the words around to make it her own song just for me. The words “you’re an angel , you’re an angel to me how all the girls go out to play, but I just sit and wait I rather concentrate on my angel how I love you” was the only song that would put me to bed as I slept over as she rubbed my head. A song I’ll play every in my head every moment I miss your voice. You were more than a grandma, you were my best friend who I told every moment of my life to, my sidekick , my role model, and my heaven on earth. She loved me with every ounce she had. As I’ll keep her close to my heart as I grow up into the woman she wanted me to be. I love you forever grandma. May I see you again in another lifetime👼🏽

Lupe was one of the best humans I've ever met.  She loved everyone and made everyone feel so special.  She was so full of life and always so happy and uplifting. Her passing has been very hard on me and my family. It just doesn't feel right, like it wasn't her time, we needed her in this world right now, her grandchildren needs her, her daughter and son-in-law needs her, her husband needs her. I can't believe I will never hear "Hi Di" again. She definitely took a piece of my heart with her. Until we meet again, Lupe, rest peacefully. Love you, I'm glad I had the chance to know you! 

She was 4’11” but her heart was 7’. 
She was my Easter Sunday, my Christmas  Eve.  She was the only person I know that rocked a Sopranos shirt at Disney World.
She always wanted to take care of you and help make your life easier.  If she seen me shoveling the snow she would say. “Donnie, why don’t you get a snowblower?”  Next Christmas she bought me a snowblower. I’m going to miss the calls asking how to fix something.  I once received a call from Lupe “Donnie how to change the tv back to english Tom changed it to Spanish and we can’t get it back.” I’m going miss crank calling her and scaring her with a halloween mask while she sat in the front of her house with the door open.  She loved her nice breeze days.  I remember her saying “oh, I love this breeze.” If you every drove pass her house chances are you would sometimes catch her sleeping on the bench outside.  If you where hungry durning the week and Lupe had an egg, boiling water, mayo, bread and a bag of Fritos she would make you a great egg salad sandwich with a side of Fritos.  Friday’s was pizza day. All the Cousins can contest to that. She would order Tom his pizza almost every Friday. I can hear her now “Sabrina, make sure you save some for your father”.  Weekends was out to dinner time. I’m going to miss her presence at the table. Her coffee, Splenda sugar, glass of “whole real milk.”Not that 2% stuff. Oh, and don’t forget the glass. No plastic cups for Lupe. She was Tom’s little princess and he spoiled her something fierce.  She loved her pork chops and roast.  l’m going to miss cooking for her. She would always call me and let me know she enjoyed it and oh “Donnie can you cook that the same way for Easter or Christmas?”
I’m going to miss sharing the kitchen with her. I lost my cooking partner and how we would both yell at Tom to leave the kitchen. Mostly I’m going to miss how much love she showed her grandchildren. They were her life and she showed it.  They were her “ACE”.  She was a proud grandma. 

To my best friend over 23 years . She always called me her mini me. Lupie was one of the realest person you could ever meet . A loving wife.mother grandmother and friend.  I will deeply miss her.

Lupe will be missed by so many.  She always had the biggest smile every time I saw her.  Her passing leaves such a hole in our hearts.  Our love and prayers are with you all.

My beloved Aunt, friend and supporter . She didn’t mince words and always made you feel special. Her laugh was contagious. Always loved. 

Lupe always had a special way of making people smile. I’ll never forget her singing “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars to cheer us all up and getting everyone to join her. She was the kind of Mom that dropped everything to take care of her loved ones and made friends feel like family. She will be missed! Karen S.

My dearest aunt Lupe will always be in my heart plenty of memories, my most memorable moment was when we were on a cruise and she ordered onion soup and told the waiter not to put to much onions in it, she  was one to make you laugh,she also had an infectious laugh and would smile from ear to ear, I will miss her dearly your nephew Charley.
