Marlone Bates Chenault

Marlone Bates Chenault, 67, of Chicago, IL passed on June 20, 2022. He was a loving husband for 33 years to Marcell née Owens; beloved father of Marcus, Taitiana, Angela (Roynell), Tina (Brian), Marlone (Jessica) and Xavier (Renea); loving grandfather of Trinity, Desean, Detric, Keyzon, Eddion, Iyana, Xavier, Jr., Xavion, Layla, Xzaria, Khalil, Mason, Serenity, Micah, and Xzariah; loving brother of the late Grayling, Spring (Marty), and Margea (Kelvin). He was a loving son of the late Stanley and the late Wilmetta. Marlone graduated from Austin High School and was a proud United States Marine Veteran. He worked for Electric Motor Diesel, Chicago Magnet Wire, Sweetheart Cup Company and Prefinished Metals. Marlone enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, cooking, camping, he loved watching movies, listening to music and eating his favorite steak. He will be best remembered for the love that he had for his wife and family.

Visitation is on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10am to 11am followed by a service at Living Word Christian Center, 7600 W. Roosevelt Rd., Forest Park, IL 60130. Military honors will be presented.
