Marva Crowder, son of Crystal Huggins and Marva Crowder was the first of a set of twins born January 25th, (same day as his mom), in 2006. He attended The Loved earning center in his daycare/preschool years. During his preteen years up until 14 Marva played little league football for the Wolfpack where he won several trophies. He attended Chicago Collegiate Grammar School and High School where he was selected for a program for gifted students to attend during the summer at Northwestern University. He also played basketball at Collegiate. Marva enjoyed playing church with his siblings in their preteen years and attended Chatham Avalon with his grandmother. He was always willing to do the prayer at family dinners and events.
Marva loved to make people laugh and was good at it. He was always the star of the show. He was well known for his charming personality and witty sense of human. He enjoyed dancing, clowning around with his family and friends making them laugh, eating, writing music, as well as rapping, and of course running that mouth.
Marva was always uplifting. He would stand outside in the rain with you even if he didn’t have to. Always willing to give without expecting anything in return. He was very intellectual at an early age and loved to have deep, debatable conversations. Within his 18 years of life Marva discovered many talents within himself and was just starting to pursue them. He once took some mostaccioli to school he got from his cousin and it for $10.00 a bowl. He was on the road to entrepreneurship and was very excited about it He also aspired to be a rapper and was actually quite good at it. He recorded many songs and his future was looking promising. Marva made a video (probably about the age of 14), during one of his the many family discussions he had with his mom and siblings stating, “Yall think death is a bad thing, but it’s not….Death is peaceful so don’t be sad for me, when I die, just know that I’m in a better place. Marva departed this place on November 7, 2024.
