Mike was a great guy and a dedicated worker at Obbies pizza . I've known Mike for over thirty years . I will miss him greatly.😢

Mike,

I will always remember you as one of the most kind hearted, caring persons I’ve ever met. You were never too busy to say hello, to smile and to engage in a personal conversation with anyone.  I will miss all our late night calls and discussions, as well as the times we spent together.  

You were a very vital, preeminent part of our Obbie’s Pizza family.  You would come in at the drop of a dime whenever needed and stepped up to help anyone in need.  Your service to us and the community was unparalleled.  Thank you!

I know you have openly confessed your faith and how much you loved the Lord, as it showed in your daily life and actions.   

I will miss you deeply Mike, but I know in my heart, that we will be reunited one day in a much better place.

My Dearest Friend Mike 
Words can not describe how much l miss you. 
Everytime my phone rings l think it's you. You called me 3 or more times a day and l miss talking to you. All you ever wanted is to everyone to be treated equally. You are the most smartest guy l know. You had so much knowledge about so many things. I really loved that you always took care of your mother and on our late runs to get her something to eat l will truly miss that. You always wanted to take the food in right away but we talked for hours after we got back. Mike l know you loved the Lord because we had our talks. Your are blessed now because your in the best hands ever with the Lord. I do have my moments when l see things like super heros on the back of a bus or the Google 11 you wanted on a commercial, or passing Portillo's , even just going to Jewel or Family Dollar or just little things that remind me of you. I cry. They are happy tears but l can't stop crying because l can't talk to you anymore. You are truly loved and missed dearly. You will always have a piece of my heart and everytime l think of you or pass those places l will keep your memory going. I will always talk with your mother to make she's ok like you would want to do.  My heart is happy because l know your in the best hands now with the Lord and you will be at peace and nobody can take that away from you. You are at peace now Mike that's what keeps me going.

Mike was such a kind and caring person. He always made me and my kids feel welcome and was genuinely happy to see us whenever we came into Obbie’s. Over the years, we shared many conversations about God, life, death, and even all the paperwork that seemed to come his way. I will always remember the kindness  he showed us.

Mike was a genuinely nice man who had a way of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. And, of course, he made some of the best pizza at Obbie’s! Those simple moments are part of what made him so special and are memories I will always cherish.

I am thankful for the memories, the conversations, and all the little moments we shared.

Rest in peace, Mike. You will be greatly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. My hope and comfort come from knowing that this is not goodbye forever. I hope and pray that one day, we will meet again.

You made the world a better place it was an honor to know you! You are one of the most hard-working people we’ve ever met!! You contributed so much to so many people honestly made a difference in other people‘s lives even with just a simple hello!!

To Mike’s family,

I worked at Obbie’s with Mike when I was in my late teens and early 20’s. He was one of the nicest, hard working guys I have ever met. He was always kind to everyone. He made the best pizza’s too! Probably the best Obbie’s had. We would always strike up a conversation about a video game or a new movie coming out or what movies we have seen. 20+ years later, I would still go to Obbie’s and there was Mike, the same nice, kind, and best pizza making guy there is!  He always made sure my pizza was just the way I liked it! Not only did Obbie’s lose an icon, but the world lost a kind soul and I hope and pray to see him in heaven with King Jesus one day. May your family know that Mike was loved by many and will be truly missed.  May the peace of the Lord be with your family during this time of grief.

Mike, you will be truly missed. We went to Byrne school together I’ve known you our entire lives pretty much. You were ALWAYS SO KIND TO EVERYONE that you came in contact with. You always asked about my Son when he was sick and then very sad when he passed away, well now you’re together again in Heaven.
