Rest easily Nadyaa. I cannot believe that you have left this earth. You were the image of pure joy - your beautiful smile was blinding. It would make me happy to see pictures of you, your beloved husband Ian, and your spectacular little boy Manipuno. I remember the day you were born- you were your mother’s everything and your grandmother Julie’s heart. You always made your family so very proud - you were forever happy, succeeding in all that you did, and constantly spreading joy to those around you. Your family can rest easily in the knowledge that your spirit will never leave them. You are going to be missed- but heaven needed another Angel and you were chosen. Love you, Aunt Susie.

Nadyaa, you were such a beautiful soul. You were always so happy. Your positive energy radiated to everyone around you. I cannot imagine the heartache that Mati, Ian, and the rest of your family and friends are feeling. You were so loved.

I haven’t seen you in years, but I saw how happy you were through social media. Your low carb recipes. Your cute family photo sessions. Just seeing you grow & flourish.

My favorite memory with you was on a cold snowy January day. Jonathan, you, and I ended up getting food from Portillos... but agreed we would all ‘eat healthy’. You told me how amazing their chocolate cake shakes were. I decided to try it, but only if you would split it with me. You agreed, so we devoured our chopped salads (because salads with pasta, cheese, and a cream based dressing are soooo healthy! ha). You & I drank chocolate cake shakes in Jonathan’s living room as we watched Mean Girls. When you were leaving, Jonathan and I threw snowballs at you. You hit Jonathan right in the head. We all laughed hysterically. It’s not a crazy or significant memory, but it is a memory that makes me feel nostalgic. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. Nadyaa, you touched the lives of so many people. May your beautiful soul Rest In Peace.

First, I’d like to say Nadyaa will be missed by all of us who love her. She was such a free spirit, a care free soul, a big heart & her joyous laugh . I had the privilege of being the aunt that taught Nadyaa how to drive. I remember taking
her to the Daley College parking lot for her lessons. She moved onto the passenger side I saw she was nervous. I was more nervous holding on to dear life on my end. I explained the basics, the gas & break she began to drive she abruptly hit the brakes hard and then stop & go brake hard again and she continued to laugh & apologize. I told her it was ok, we all start this way. She got better through out the hour & then we practiced reversing. She kept reversing onto the side walk & saying I’m sorry & laugh. I told her it was ok she would get better with practice. We continue for weeks until she said she was ready all or nothing to try to get her license. I remember how nervous she was that Saturday morning. I took her to the same DNV that my sister & I went too. We also hardly knew how to drive. So I new the instructors weren’t too strict with new drivers. As, I waited I remember I saw her with her endless smile when she got back from her driving test. I told her you see, I new you’d pass your driving test. You needed to have confidence in your driving skills. Nadyaa said I can’t believe I passed!! She thanked me, I told her it was nothing it was matter of practice. I told her she could drive me around anytime she wanted. She was proud of herself she finally had her license, next would be to buy a car. She drove back home and couldn’t stop smiling. I told her at least you didn’t give the instructor a heart attack like I did. She laughed when I continue to tell her my horror story. She continued to thank me, I told her she was a good student. Nadyaa was my 1st student, my nephew Adriel was my 2nd my niece Isabell will be my last student. I will always keep Nadyaa close to
my heart with all our memories of her.

I have no specific memory to pick out. To be honest we were not very close friends, more like acquaintances.. but when I think of Nadyaa I think of a person who is full of joy. Always a smile on her face, always radiating good energy to everyone around her. Always greeted you with a warm hello. Always involved, goal oriented, and a good friend to those around her. I know a light like that will be missed. Sending love and warm wishes to her family and friends.

Funny story... it took 5,1/2 hours to get to cedar point ohio ,we went to hunt down scary roller costers , it was maribel n i , nadyaa n isabel. We finally get to the draggster n nadyaa looks at me n asked, is it scary ? Im like nooo peace of cake!!! ...my hands were so nervous lol. We all came out without no spit lmao...this was isabel first time in roller costers but just because nadyaa was going on them , she gave her the courage to go on them too..it was a long drive n long day but very fun.. The funny part of this story n scary part was the end of the day....have u guys seen the movie twister? Well!!!!we were leaving the theme park, ohio is straight country open fields n as i was driving, we see the darkest clouds shaping into a twister behind us, i mean!!! i couldn't even see 2 feet in front of me while driving, we put the hazards n waited for impact, maribel n i were so afraid never seen or went through something like this. The car starts shaking ,raining so hard, pounding it with hail, im so nervous n freaking out with maribel, we both look at each other with nervousness in our eyes. it looked something straight out of the movies.. the really funny part about this was nadyaa n isabel were straight up snoring 😴 😂 i couldn't believe it, through out all of this happening , these 2 little girls were snoring, i mean, drull n everything!lmao ..wouldn't budge for nothing...what memorable moments n more with nadyaa, forever will be missed

My barista bestie, we worked together at Starbucks and instantly became great friends. I watched you save every paycheck so you could buy your little red car and then I watched you accidentally leave the car running in the lot for an entire shift.. TWICE. You’d pick me up and we drive around just blasting music and laughing at your crazy driving.
My sweet Nadyaa, you were the most adventurous person I’d ever met- never afraid and always determined to go after what you wanted. Nothing or no one could deter you from what you wanted; I admired that the most about you.
Thank you for all of the laughs, all of the cries, and all of the memories I will cherish forever.

We met in HS. You were always so sweet. We became close after Jonathan left for college. You would pick me up in your little car and we’d go on adventures. From the mall, to house parties, it was always a good time. You would laugh at my jokes, and I always knew I had a friend in you. We lost touch, but I wish we hadn’t. So many great memories. You were such an amazing person. I will miss you. I love you Nads.
