Nancy Smith

Nancy Smith, 91, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 at Christ Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1934, in Zagreb, the daughter of Ivan and Marija (Benc) Veseli.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law, Sharon (Russo) Stiplosek; her grandchildren Ashley (Stiplosek) Wascher, Jason Stiplosek; great grandchildren, Allison, Cassidee Stiplosek; Raelynn, Rhett and Rylee Wascher; and brother living in Croatia, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Dubravko "Dave" Stiplosek.

Visitation for Nancy will be on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638.
