Nicholas Joseph Misuraca Jr.

Nicholas J. Misuraca Jr., age 71. Born January 14, 1948; passed away peacefully at home November 24, 2019. Proud Vietnam War veteran, U.S. Army.

Nick was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and dear friend to many. Loving Dad of Michelle Marie Misuraca and the late Nicholas Charles Misuraca II. Best Papa to Joey. Fond uncle to Michael Neurohr and best friend to James Stephens and James Oesterle. Fond nephew of many aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by his parents Nicholas J. Misuraca Sr. and Dorothy May nee Browne. Dear brother to Dominick "Rock" Misuraca, Richard (Twan) Misuraca and Dorothy Montalto. Member of Local 150 Operating Engineers, Master Mason and Square Club Shriners. Retired from the Chicago Park District. Nick was one of the founding members of The American Lawmen motorcycle club. He loved riding his Harley and everything that life had to offer! Friend to many and family to many who have passed on.

Visitation Sunday December 1, 2019 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka Manager/Director), 6620 W. Archer Ave. Chicago,IL. 60638. Daddy, I have to may wonderful memories to share.... But today is my first Thanksgiving in 47 yrs without u.... But i am so thankful that u r no longer struggling to breath... Walk...... Eat... U no longer have to dread going to dialysis and u no longer have to worry what's going to b taken from u next.... I am also thankful that u r my father and my best friend.... My first love... My biggest supporter and soo much more... I will take u with me everytime I ride and u will b with in every min of every day of the rest of my life.... I'm thankful that as many times that I have almost lost u in the past I didn't and I was blessed to have you for those 12 yrs... It was my honor and privaledge to help you and take care of u thank you for trusting me with ur life.... And for passing at home with us as peacefully as u did... It was nice to finally see u resting comfortably for the first time in a long time... I love love love u.... And will always be Your Michelle... Michelle ur bell 💗
