Patti was a lifelong resident of the Chicago area and its surrounding suburbs. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, faith, and selfless love touched countless lives.
Patti is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Moreci; her sons, Rick Moreci and Michael Moreci (Alissa); her cherished grandsons, Noah and Jackson; her siblings, Pat, Paul, Bob, Tom, and Tracy; and ten nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Moreci, and her parents, Patrick and Patricia.
For many years, Patti worked as an Office Manager for State Farm Insurance and later in an eye doctor’s office, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for others.
Nothing brought Patti more joy than spending time with her family. She especially treasured moments with her grandchildren and her beloved grand-puppies. An avid reader, she could often be found with a book in hand and was rarely happier than when discovering a new story. She especially loved a good romance novel or a riveting mystery. She also loved cooking for her family (especially on Thanksgiving), tackling word puzzles, and creating lasting memories on family vacations.
A woman of deep Catholic faith, Patti lived her life guided by compassion, humility, and service to others. Her greatest gift was her unwavering devotion to the people she loved. She was especially selfless in caring for her daughter and her parents during their times of greatest need, offering comfort, strength, and unconditional love. Her example of generosity and sacrifice will remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
Patti's warmth, gentle spirit, and loving heart made her a truly special person. Though she will be profoundly missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
May she rest in the peace of Christ and be reunited with those who have gone before her.
