Paula M. Zurawski

Paula is survived by her husband of 34 years Thomas Zurawski, Sr; Son: Michael Kuphal; bonus children Erin Zurawski (Mahmoud Mohammed) and Thomas Zurawski, Jr (Heather); grandchildren Haley Miller, Sophia Mohammed, Logan, Lukas, Liam, and Lanie Zurawski. She was jokingly and lovingly known as NTMM (not the mama) to Erin and Tom Jr.

Paula M Zurawski passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2025. She was a Romeoville resident but had lived in Chicago, Cicero, and Berwyn, Illinois. Paula is a graduate of Morton College in Cicero with her Associates degree in Applied Science.

Paula was an accountant for many years and worked at the Girl Scouts of America and AMS Mechanical, from which she retired. Her most memorable time in her career was working for Lockheed Martin at O’Hare International Airport where she collaborated with her colleagues to successfully develop a fueling system budget program that the ATA later utilized as their model for their fuel system inventory. She traveled to Hawaii and to Guam to implement this program to educate and ensure that this program was being utilized to maintain accurate records of the fuel inventory.

Paula loved to sew and to make jewelry. She was best known for her comfy flannel nightgowns that she made. The jewelry that she crafted was absolutely beautiful and proudly wore every piece.

Paula was a loyal friend and everyone she met loved her. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. She is now our guardian angel. She holds dear to her family and friends close to her.
