Doris Helen Meyer (née Ruehle), a beloved, elegant, and kind-hearted woman, was born on July 18, 1936, in Stuttgart, Germany. She passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of grace and warmth that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Doris married the love of her life, Antony “Tony” Meyer, in 1959. Together, they embarked on a life of adventure, first moving to California in 1961, then settling in Coquitlam, BC, in 1975. In 1999, the family put down permanent roots in Chilliwack, the place they would call home.
Doris is predeceased by her husband Tony, and her parents Eduare and Berta Ruehle.
Doris is lovingly remembered by her children, Gary and Susan and by her grandchildren Justin, Kyle, and Nathan.
Doris' ashes will be interned in Chilliwack Cemeteries next to her dearly departed husband; they will be reunited again and together forever.
