Africa Esguerra Manarang, age 95, of San Diego, California passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Africa was born in Philippines.

Africa is survived by her daughter Rina E. Manarang; her daughter Priscila M Alegre; and her daughter Elizabeth E. La'o "Beth".

A visitation for Africa will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A vigil service will occur Friday, February 10, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Chula Vista, CA. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 990 Saturn Blvd., San Diego, CA.
