Antonia Lucero

Antonia was born in Ruidosa, Texas, to parents Tiburcio and Juana Fuentes. As a young girl she moved to

San Diego and called it "home" for the span of her life. On November 24, 1946 she married Francisco L. Lucero.

Their union lasted 43 years and created a legacy of 4 children; Frances Fisher, Paul Lucero, (predeceased), Gregory Lucero and Antoinette Wenthold. In addition, she is survived by 5 grandchildren; Sarah Harris, Carlos Arnero, Amanda Arnero, Monique Fisher Binda and Tony Lucero. Her 9 great-grandchildren are Alexis, Jasen, Sophia, Tom, Pablo, Ethan, Nevaeh, Aleigha and Flynn. Two surviving siblings; Louie Fuentes and Mary Quiroz.

A celebration of her life and visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the Serenity Chapel.

A funeral mass will take place at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1129 South 38th Street, San Diego, CA 92113 on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Eternal resting place will be at La Vista Memorial in National City, CA.
