Tony Contreras was born January 29th, 1969 in Tijuana, Mexico to his Mother Olivia Contreras and his dad David Contreras. He came to the United States when he was six years old. He attended San Diego High School and has been running restaurants ever since. On June 9th, 1995 he married Mercedes P. Mancillas and they had two children, Patty and Anthony. He was a hardworking man that always put his family, and everyone else before him. No matter the situation he was always optimistic and had a glass-half-full mentality. He was compassionate towards everyone and gave everyone he could an opportunity. He never failed to make everyone around him laugh, his smile was contagious. He admired Bruce Lee and watched every single one of his movies. Heavy Metal was his favorite genre. His love for guitar led him to join a band as a teenager, from which he always shared stories about. He loved visiting new places and experiencing other cultures. He took his family on a trip to Japan without speaking any Japanese and no tour guides. He was a very intelligent man, despite not studying past high school he was able to accomplish big things in his life. He was the best son, brother, husband, and most of all the best dad there was. He loved his wife and children above all things and he demonstrated it with his sacrifices day by day. He will be missed immensely because men like him there are very few in the world.
