Caroline (“Corky” as she was known to friends and family) was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all who knew her for her warmth, generosity and kindness. Caroline had a core of kindness that was as strong as it is rare. She possessed an understanding heart and loved her family and friends unconditionally; she was a blessing to us all. We will miss her love and caring. We will miss her impish smile and generous laughter. And we will love her always.
Caroline was born and raised in San Diego CA and graduated from San Diego High School. She spent the majority of her working years as a Nurse Assistant, but also held jobs as sales clerk, theater cashier and in produce distribution.
Caroline passed away at St. Paul’s McColl Health Center, San Diego, after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her only child, her beloved daughter Selina Marie Coleman.
Caroline is survived by her sister Virginia Gloor, her brothers Chris Egipto, Anthony Alexander, Michael Salud, and Joseph and Dominic Monreal, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
