Corazon Cayanan Alonzo, age 83 of San Diego, California, formerly of Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines died peacefully in her sleep on the early morning of Thursday, May 9th, 2019 in El Cajon, CA. She was born to the late Jose Cayanan, Sr and Juliana Cayanan on December 10, 1935. Corazon was the second child and the oldest daughter of 14 children. Corazon grew up in the Philippines with her brothers and sisters. Her parents were farmers and growing up as the oldest daughter, she helped her father on the farm to help raised the family. Corazon married at the age of 17 to the late Rustico Camaisa Alonzo, who was also the oldest child and from a family of farmers. Corazon worked full time outside her home. She enjoyed friends and family gatherings, and was passionate about gardening, singing and writing poems. Corazon immigrated to the United States in 1980, and her husband and other children followed her a few years later. Corazon is survived by her eight children Marazon Rose Bush (Calvin), Marino Alonzo (Anna Liza), Diosdado Alonzo (Linaflor), Evilina Salinas (Zaldy), Edilberto Alonzo, Enrico Alonzo (Aning), Jose Joven Alonzo (Rosemarie Leonor) and Maria Fe Tanzer (Raymond), 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; 9 brothers and sisters, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving friends and relatives all over the world.

Corazon Cayanan Alonzo, age 83 of San Diego, California, formerly of Hermosa, Bataan, Philippines died peacefully in her sleep on the early morning of Thursday, May 9th, 2019 in El Cajon, CA.
