Cristina Hernandez

Cristina married Pascual Hernandez on October 7, 1948. They were to celebrate their 70th anniversary this October. Their union was blessed with five children.

Cristina will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always enjoyed taking good care of her family by cooking special dishes such as mole, tamales, and her favorite, pancakes. When vacation time came around, she liked going to Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, to visit with family and life long friends.

Cristina was predeceased by two of her children; Ruben Hernandez and Abel Hernandez. She is survived by her spouse, Pascual Hernandez and daughter Judith Hernandez, son Daniel Hernandez and daughter Noemi Berman. Her legacy includes 24 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are her siblings; Maria, Cristina, Maximino, Modesta, Juanita, Isaac and Moises.

A visitation & celebration of life for Cristina will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Her burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Ave, San Diego, California 92113-1900 at 12:30 PM.
