David B Emery

April 2, 1942 - May 26, 2017

David Boyd Emery passed away on May 26th, 2017 surrounded by family and friends in La Mesa, CA, at age of 75.

David was predeceased by his father Woodrow Emery and his brother Eugene Emery.

David is lovingly remembered by his mother Lily Emery, his sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Dudley Oatman along with his children

Tod, daughter-in-law Joanie and Keli, his grandchildren Travis, Jordan, Chris and Ashley along with six nieces and nephews.

David was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on April 2nd, 1942, moved to San Diego with his parents and brother when he was 1 1/2 years old.

He attended local elementary schools and graduated from Hoover High School in 1960. David worked in the cosmetology field for many

years and owned several salons throughout his career.

David enjoyed being outdoors, working in his garden and yard along with traveling to many beautiful and historic places over the years.

A memorial service and reception will be held at 7579 Lake Ree Ave., San Diego, CA, 92119 on June 24th, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

In celebration of David's life let us all remember his sense of humor, his loving, caring and understanding ways he instilled in all of us..
