Editha was born October 24, 1956 in Maragondon, Cavite, Philippines. Edith, as called by most of her friends and relatives, graduated from college Manuel L. Quezon University with a Bachelor's degree in commerce.
Edith married Edgar Orosa Riego de Dios on March 22, 1981 and for almost 37 years they showed what true love meant to them. They were blessed with two children, son Engelbert and daughter Edgith.
Edith worked as an assistant manager for Walgreens for more than 15 years. Back home in Cavite, she was an active member of WOPIC, a religious organization. When enjoying herself you would hear her singing, line dancing, shopping and knitting. "Fashion" was her middle name.
Edith was love by all; her spouse, children, siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, and their grandchildren.
She was a mother figure and friend to all who knew her. She was blessed to be a second mom to the McGauley children. She will be greatly missed.
Edith is survived by her loving husband Edgar, son Engelbert, daughter Edgith, daughter-in-law Dannika Riego de Dios; and son-in-law Michael Yap.
Viewing and celebration of life services will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and March 25, 2018 from 4 p.m. ~ midnight. A Vigil Service will be on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 6 p.m. Her eternal resting place and funeral service will be held in the Philippines as per Editha's wishes.
