Eduardo Benjamin Mendez, 44, was born May 15, 1982, in National City, California, and passed away October 18, 2026. Monster will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew him—beloved for the steady presence he brought to those around him, and for the humor that could lighten a moment and draw people closer together.
A devoted family man at heart, Monster found genuine joy in being with family, treasuring the time shared in everyday moments as well as special gatherings. He also had a true appreciation for oldies cars—an interest that reflected his eye for classic style and the simple pleasure of things built to last.
Monster is survived by his daughter, Aizza C. Mendez Marquez; his son, Eduardo B Mendez Marquez; his mother, Sandra L. Mendez; and his brothers, Andy Mendez and Joseph Mendez. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Mendez Sr., and his brother, Daniel Mendez Jr.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Serenity Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on November 8, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
