Florentino R. Gamab, age 62, of Imperial Beach, California passed away on Friday July 20, 2018. Florentino was born October 28, 1955 in Santa Mesa, Manila, Philippines. Florentino graduated from Holy Cross High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Philippine Maritime Institute.
He was married to Luz L. Gamab on October 18, 1983.
Florentino had a career in the US Navy and Military Sealift Command. He had a passion for the sea, fishing, delicious food, and to travel.
He is survived by his wife Luz and his children Joey, Gail, Kit, and Kooki
A visitation and vigil service for Florentino will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A cremation will occur Monday, July 30, 2018 at 12:00 AM.
