

Frank Cazares Herrera Jr. was born on October 25, 1961 in Palm Springs, California to Frank Herrera Sr. and Grace Herrera(deceased). He passed away at the age of 53 on January 1, 2015 as a resident of El Cajon, California.
He graduated in 1980 from Montgomery High School in San Diego, California.
Frank worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. His last employer was Koch-Armstrong. He started working for Koch-Armstrong in 2003 as a concrete finisher then became their Estimator/Project Manager in 2005. It was at this point that Frank found his true calling. You would always hear him talking about how much he loved his job, the projects he was working on, though most of all we were always sure to know when he won the GIGANTIC bid.
Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. His passion as a young man was spending time camping and fishing with his family every summer vacation. He loved to listen to his oldies, singing them out loud and dancing to each song.
Frank is survived by his father Frank S. Herrera Sr.; sister Christina Fallorina, brother in law Leonard Fallorina; sister Linda Martinez, borther in law Daniel Martinez; brother Michael Herrera, sister in law Kim Herrera; and sister Teresa Herrera-Varela.
Although Frank did not have children of his own, his nepews, nieces, great nephews and nieces were like his children. He loved each one equally.
Nephews and nieces: Mario Martinez, Michael Martinez, Juan Mendez, Clarissa Fallorina, Anthony Herrera, Daniel Herrera, Adrian Herrera, Isabella Herrera, Peter(PJ) Varela, Leianna Varela, and Frankie Varela.
Great nephews and nieces: Arianna Martinez, Annabella Martinez, Mario Martinez Jr., Aaliyah Martinez, Annissa Martinez, Jacob Mendez, Noah Mendez, Benny Herrera, and Melody Herrera.
