Gerald Penson Hickey, 68 of San Diego passed away on February 14, 2018. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario Canada on August 10, 1949. Gerald graduated from Watertown High School. He was married to Bertha Lara on July 16, 1983 and had three sons.
Gerald Penson Hickey served over 30 years in The Armed Services, Starting in the Marine Core and then the Navy. Gerald proudly served in Vietnam and achieved the prestigious rank of Master Chief before retiring. He was known as one of the most dedicated soldiers to his peers. His dedication to his country was only rivaled by his dedication to his family and his wife. He was a proud member of the UMF Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding whenever he could. His biggest passions in life were the Pittsburg Steelers and his family.
