Gerrit Kersbergen passed away peacefully in his home on the evening of November 23, 2022, surrounded by his family in San Diego. He was born in Huntington New York on October 22, 1939. Gerritt Kersbergen served in the Navy for over 20 years and worked as a pipefitter. He married the love of his life Susan Kersbergen on July 07, 2003. He will be remembered as kind, generous and always ready to help anyone who came into his life. Survived by his children Susan Panico, Patrick Gress, Debbie Gress. Grandchildren, Andrea Foti, Jason Kelly, Steven Panico. He will be forever loved and deeply missed. Services will be held, Friday December 30, 2022, at 11:00am. Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
