Gilbert R. Torres of Chula Vista, California passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 61 years old. He is survived by his Sisters Sylvia Valadez, Ida Soliven and Lisa Torres, brother Raul Torres and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Gilbert was born on June 25, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Raul and Janie Torres. Gilbert loved playing Dominoes and Reading. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family.
A viewing will take place on Thursday, July 21st from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey: 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA and a Funeral Service on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12:30 at Holy Cross Chapel: 4470 Hilltop Dr., San Diego, CA 92102 follow by a burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
