Ivan Enrique Vasquez

Ivan Enrique Vazquez, age 31, of National City, California passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023. Ivan was born in Chula Vista, California at Scripps Chula Vista hospital on March 20, 1992, he shared a birthday with his mom.

Ivan went to Lauderbach and Montgomery elementary school, Castle Park Middle and Castle Park High school. He attended San Diego City College and finally graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's in Accounting. Once an Aztec , alway an Aztec!

Ivan was a dedicated vocational teacher and was in the process of starting a Bookkeeping and Tax preparation business with his uncle. He was planning great things for his future.

He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a happy kind from the beginning and always had a great smile. He loved to play soccer and watch soccer games with his family and friends. He was an avid fan of the Chivas and Barcelona soccer team and could talk about soccer for hours. He played on a league every Sunday at the Montgomery-Waller park.

He was a caring, selfless man, and was always ready to help, which is reflected by his decision to give the gift of life to others.

Ivan is survived his mother Rosalinda, father Santos, brothers Moises and Yael and his youngest sister Andrea.

A Viewing & Celebration of Life for Ivan will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 12:00 am at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A Funeral Service will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. followed by a Graveside Service Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Ave., San Diego, CA 92113.
