Jason,

You were like a son to me. I watch you grow up from a child, to a teen, then into a young man making his way in world and serving your country in the U.S. Navy. I was so very proud of you.

My heart is saddened by your loss and there will forever be a hole in my heart right next to the one for Dominique.

May you find rest in the arms of God.

Love you,

Mr. Starks

To the Washington Family. I love you all and will always remember Jason as a hard worker and true friend to my son Brian. They were joined at the hip and their birthdays were one month apart to the day. Jason would always help Brian with chores. I attached a picture of the tree that Jason planted many years ago. Look how it has grown. Myra, I am here if you need anything including a shoulder to lean on. I have been there and buried my 23 year old son Dominique in December of 2011. I thank God for his son who is now 14 years old son as I will always have a piece of him. So you have your grand daughter to always keep Jason's spirit alive. Peace and blessings to the Washington family. Jasmine, I am so proud of the young woman you have become. Take care of Mommy but God family and friends will get you all through this. You will smile, laugh, and have peace again.

Peace and blessings, Arleen Boyd-Alston, Jacksonville, FL
