A life well lived,
that's what I had.
Please be happy,
don't be sad.
I met and married the
love of my life.
For almost 60 years
she was my wife.
Four beautiful children
and grand-kids too.
There was nothing for them
I wouldn't do.
Remember the days
lying on the beach.
And learning about stars
so far from reach.
The places we traveled, and
family we've seen,
and all the adventures
we had in between.
So many stories
that can be told.
This is my legacy
for you to hold.
Please love one another,
as you've heard me say.
You never know
when it's your last day.
A life well lived,
this is true.
It was well lived,
because of you.
A life well lived.
