Javier graduated from Castle Park High School and had a career as a truck driver for 30 years. In his spare time Javier had many varied interests which included taking long walks at Imperial Beach, going to classic car shows, playing the one-arm bandits at Viejas Casino and partaking of their ample buffet, going to the yearly San Diego Comic Con Convention and attending the Padres baseball games as their number one fan. He was also a movie buff who enjoyed going to the latest releases with his "stub's-holder " movie card. Javier was known to always have a faithful canine companion by his side. Although the pets changed throughout his lifetime, one thing was standard and that was the name "Snoopy" he gave to every pet he owned.
Javier loved spending time with his family, and was especially close to his twin brother, David. His warm smile and generous spirit will be missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Evangelina Ramirez, his two brothers, Rudolph Ramirez, David Ramirez, and his two sisters, Judy Ramirez and Martha Ramirez. An extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Javier was predeceased by his father, Rudolph on August 14, 2009.
